About the Position
The Junior Video Editor supports the production of high-volume video content used across multiple educational brands and internal teams. This role focuses on creating videos and training materials at scale, primarily using Canva and templated workflows. The editor works closely with marketing, training, and operations teams to produce engaging and clear video content for:
· Educational videos for agents (product knowledge & onboarding)
· Internal staff training
· System training videos
· Short-form marketing and social media content
The Junior video editor will also be required to produce clear, engaging, and scalable video content that helps educate agents and internal teams, ensuring fast turnaround and brand consistency across all materials.
Key Result Areas:
· Training & Educational Content Creation
· Produce clear instructional videos and interactive learning materials for agents and internal teams by combining screen recordings, captions, visuals, and voiceover.
· Social-First Video Production
· Create short-form video content by transforming scripts and briefs into engaging social-media-optimised videos using Canva templates and platform best practices.
· Editing & Scaling
· Deliver batches of videos efficiently by following templates, repeatable workflows, and brand guidelines while maintaining quality and consistency.
· Template-Based Production
· Maintain and update Canva templates by adjusting layouts, subtitles, graphics, and assets to support multiple institutions and campaigns.
· Platform Optimisation
· Export videos in correct formats and ratios for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, email, LMS platforms, and internal training hubs.
· Collaboration & Revisions
· Work with copywriters, designers, and stakeholders to implement feedback quickly and ensure clarity of educational messaging.
Requirements
Essential Criteria
· Bachelor’s degree in film production, Multimedia Arts, Digital Media, or equivalent professional experience.
· Preferred: Certification in Video Editing, Motion Graphics, or relevant software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro).
· Strong experience with Canva video editor (required)
· 2+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics, with a portfolio showcasing a range of short and long-form content.
· Experience creating social media video content and advertisements.
· Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Previous work in a creative agency or fast-paced marketing environment is highly advantageous. Advanced skills in managing multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring each is completed on time and meets quality standards.
· Track record of delivering projects that have positively impacted lead generation and brand awareness.
· This is a primarily remote position; however, the candidate must be available for occasional travel to the office for in-person meetings, team collaboration sessions, or key project milestones as required. Estimated travel frequency is 1-4 per month, depending on business needs.

· Native or near-native English language skills, with exemplary written and verbal communication abilities.
Location
This is a primarily remote position based in Manila, Philippines; however, the candidate must be available for occasional travel to the office for in-person meetings, team collaboration sessions, or key project milestones as required.
Other Information
This position would be a full-time role on consultancy agreement.
The post holder may be asked to undertake different or additional duties in line with business requirements at the request of their line manager.
